Marco Pandolfi has been a distinctive presence on the Italian blues scene for over thirty years, earning the respect of leading musicians both in Italy and internationally. Over time, his artistic path has evolved beyond traditional blues, moving toward a more intimate and personal style, increasingly centered on songwriting and the interpretation of ballads.

A critically acclaimed harmonica player, Pandolfi is also a compelling bandleader, often performing while playing guitar and harmonica simultaneously. His recordings and performances have been featured in leading international publications such as Il Blues, Blues Revue, Soul Bag, and Blues Britain, while his music has been broadcast worldwide on programs including B.B. King’s Bluesville (XM Radio, USA), King Biscuit Time (Helena, Arkansas), WWOZ (New Orleans), and WEFT (Illinois).

He has represented Italy on major international stages, including two appearances at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (2006 with his band Marco Pandolfi & the Jacknives, and 2011 in the solo/duo category), and at the European Blues Challenge in Riga in 2014. His career has taken him across Europe and the United States, performing in renowned venues such as The Rhythm Room (Phoenix, AZ), Ground Zero (Clarksdale, MS), and BB’s Jazz, Blues & Soups (St. Louis, MO), as well as at major festivals including the Freedom Creek Blues Festival (Alabama), Rosedale Blues Festival (Mississippi), Chicago Blues Festival, Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Festival, and numerous European events.

Throughout his career, Pandolfi has collaborated and shared the stage with many notable artists, including Richard Ray Farrell, Paul Oscher, Bob Margolin, Greg Izor, Bob Corritore, and Enrico Crivellaro, among others. In 2008, he was the only European musician invited to the Delta Groove All-Star Blues Revue at Ground Zero in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and has continued to be a regular presence on the international blues circuit.

Marco Pandolfi has released thirteen albums under his own name, alongside numerous collaborations with Italian and international artists. In recent years, his work has increasingly focused on original compositions, blending the storytelling sensitivity of songwriting with the raw essence of traditional blues.

This artistic evolution culminates in his latest album, RAIN OR SHINE, released in early April 2026 on the Swiss label EPOPS Music. Featuring fourteen new original tracks, the album retains a strong blues identity while further exploring a more lyrical and introspective dimension through ballads, confirming Pandolfi’s mature and personal voice as a songwriter.

His recent creative direction has also led to recognition beyond the blues world, including an invitation to perform at the italian songwriter showcase “Giovani del Folkstudio,” curated by Luigi “Grechi” De Gregori—an important acknowledgment of his artistic depth.

The year 2026 opened with performances at the prestigious Orpheum Theater in Graz, Austria, and a series of concerts in Madrid, Spain, reaffirming his active presence on the international stage. Marco Pandolfi continues to tour extensively across Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, France, Spain, Germany, and the United States.
